I didn't want to spend a lot of money as we just bought a MacAir for my college kid... This laptop is inexpensive and works great! We had to order it and it was shipped to the store which gave me some peace of mind that it wouldn't be left on my doorstop...

It takes a long time to load a simple web page. It took 34 seconds to fully load the youtube homepage, with nothing else running on the computer. Not very impressed.

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaPad 130-15, model number 81H5002FUS, ships with a 128GB solid state hard drive. It will boot from off to the Windows 10 desktop in lest than 10-seconds. It will also provide quick program and file access. If you are experiencing slower than expected performance, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

This one is light enough for her to move in her lap easily and has all the capabilities she requires to keep connected in this media heavy society. She likes the screen and it is very bright for her. It is plenty fast for her online gaming and facebooking!

I was informed that the system does not have the basic information that comes with any NORMAL computer. I did not understand until the Best Buy Geek Squad informed me that I just purchased the shell and you have to download, everything. This was horrible as they did assist me, but I was not able to use the computer without keeping it plugged in to the power outlet, because the battery fails less than 25 minutes. I have not used the computer and it was a waste. Please believe the overall ratings. I want my money back, I am not able to use this computer effective as it does not have the quality that basic computer has. Yes, Best Buy helped but I don't have all of the basic things that a computer would have as you first purchase it and turn it on. Very sad! It does not matter of the cost. Read the Overall ratings!

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaPad 130-15 laptop has a built in CD/DVD drive. Here are several tips for ejecting a disc manually from the CD/DVD drive: 1.Right click on the DVD drive inside 'This PC' and select 'Eject' from the menu.
2.Press the physical ejector button on the outside of the tray.
3.Insert a paper clip/needle inside the hole that's on the DVD tray that will manually activate the release mechanism.

I have always had apple and decided to switch to Lenovo. So happy I did! Everything works seamlessly. Its fast and perfect for work and school. I am now looking into buying an upgraded one and give this one to my son for school. Buy it. You won't be disappointed!
