Not a very expensive computer, but as said, very nice. One thing I will advise: When using touchpad, not an easy touch. Your finger(s) will not glide effortlessly, and keys must be pressed with a firmness unexpected. Nonetheless, a very nice (an inexpensive) computer.

It's got a few bells and whistles if that's what you like, but not enough to overwhelm anyone. Its a great, solid rig. It's the Chevy Impala of laptops. I just bought my fourth and if necessary I'd buy a fifth...only one is mine, the others were gifts.

I have to say so far I like the Lenovo better than the hp & spent way less on the Lenovo. It starts up fast & works great so far for what we need.

Battery life is OK, screens pretty solid, and its lightweight. Does not come with some software standard that would be nice but at the price point it is a solid laptop.

No bells or whistles just study and this does the job very well. The only “complaint” would be that it came with a free period of security software that when I tried to download and install per the directions from Best Buy Windows told me that I already had security and that I would have to disable it to install the other one. It makes no sense to include free software that isn’t useable or that compromises the existing security that comes preinstalled.

In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. If you choose to use another 3rd party virus protection software, you will need to uninstall McAfee, as there can only be one active virus protection software on any computer.
