Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a pretty relaxed person when it comes to things and I generally do not strive to be negative, but unfortunately I have to advise against purchasing this laptop if you will be using it for web-based work, especially if time is of importance. This was a part of my first venture in purchasing a laptop solely for travel and work. Unfortunately, like the HP that I returned after a week, this laptop is slow when it comes to web browsing, so slow that it's not uncommon that if I'm looking up supplemental information that I'll use my phone to complete the search rather than open an additional tab on this laptop. However, it is not all bad. The DVD player plays DVDs and copies CDs without issue. The graphics card/processer is pretty good for playing Windows store apps and Xbox Game Pass games within reason. The best part about this purchase is that Best Buy has pretty good customer service, especially with electronics. Hope this helps.

I literally had to type with one finger on previous laptops. It was so aggravating. I am a Clerk Typist who types 50 wpm, except on a laptop computer! My new Lenovo gives me the opportunity to get things done! Because of the raised keys on the keyboard, I can type again! Thanks for common sense ingenuity, Lenovo.

If you have switched out of S-Mode to Windows 10 Home, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software.
