At that price definitely worth it to get Windows instead of a Chromebook. The processor is decent for the price and can drive a 2K display out the HDMI. I attached 2 DisplayLink devices and can drive 3 1080P monitors. The 4GB RAM really limits the ability to run multiple programs at once. Really need at least 8GB RAM. Boots really fast from cold start. A few seconds to login.

This does exactly what I need, is a surprisingly awesome size and super light. It does come preloaded with Windows-s but you can upgrade to regular windows (free) just by going into the settings. I’m very pleased with the little laptop. It’s gping to be my travel laptop as well.

I'd like it more if it had lighted keyboard and a few more ports, but for what it is, it's terrific. I especially like that it doesn't run hot like my older computers. I'll likely buy another one like this one but with a few more features. It's plenty fast and i am glad i bought it.

Great tiny laptop

When I was looking for a laptop that was not a chrome book at a lower price point this was one of the few options. There are only two downsides that I can see so far and the first one is that it runs on windows and the second one is that you can’t expand the memory.

Got it as a back up for my other Lenovo. 15.6" with an Intel core I5 8th gen It has a Intel® Celeron® processor N4000 Entry-level dual-core processor for general e-mail, Internet and productivity tasks. Remember that... It's compact, light and thin. For the $$$ can't beat it and Lenovo makes great laptops.

Excellent little Laptop

The screen is super awesome, the keyboard is more than functional. Heck I'm writing this review using it. Hardly any mistakes. Of course, I'm missing the backlit keyboard but that is okay...for what I paid for this...this is awesome. OMG, I just love it. The entire experience so far as been nothing short of amazing. For what I paid for this little thing, I only wish I purchased two of them now. Being a Total Tech Member I did get a 2 year extra warranty and I'm still under two Benjamin's (not sure I can write the price I paid for it in a review). Folks, seriously, as long as you have a proper use case for this, you will love it. Regarding Windows S. Makes no difference to me. I have a use case where I use this in the kitchen and check a few financial websites and enter my numbers into a spreadsheet. After that review my Facebook and check a few other sites. For that, it works...and this laptop doesn't clutter up our kitchen. This, btw, replaces a 17" HP Envy. Give it a try if you can...and Best Buy is always so great in returning a laptop that doesn't meet your expectations. Three words...just buy it! :-)

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Lenovo 100s for about three or four years and really liked it. l The 130s feels very similar -- nicely sized, satisfying to type on, and pretty quick for a $160 computer. For what I need to do (writing, sending emails, some light photo editing, occasional video or music streaming), you can't get a better deal. My only complaint is the amount of bloatware that the computer comes with -- I spent about 30 minutes deleting apps from it when I first started it up. Oh, and the new Windows 10 insists that you give it an email address, which is lame, but that's Windows' fault, not the computer!

Fabulous portable laptop

I switched it to full Windows mode. I have installed various windows system updates. It is presently running the latest version 2004. The key here is to run a full system cleanup afterwards any you will always have at least half of you 64GB of storage available. The other key is to purchase a 128GB micro SD card for additional storage in the available slot. I have yet to run out of storage on this laptop. It is not upgradable except from what I have read there is an open NVME slot. I used it for emails, web searches and word processing on Word. I have office 365 installed. I also have Duet installed for use with an IPad in a dual monitor setup. This little Lenovo has all day battery life and is aesthetically very pleasing. It is just a sweet little gem.i highly recommend it.

Great laptop for travel

At this price, I was really expecting something that was super slow, and while you're not going to use it for editing videos, it does all the usual online stuff just fine. 4GB ram, 64gb solid state drive and a 1.1 GHz Celeron processor, 11.6" screen makes it a pretty good option in you just need something to toss in your carry-on bag that will give you more utility than your cellphone. I also stuck a 128gb micro sdhc card in the slot, so I'm not limited by the 64gb SSD. It isn't a Cray super computer, but it is pretty good for what I use it for on the road.

Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.
