I was just looking for the cheapest laptop I could find to write papers for school and this laptop does that and much more. Super great at multitasking and much faster than I would expect from a laptop at this price. While the specs don’t seem very powerful, they are still fast and feel very up to date. Sidenote: this computer has a windows precision trackpad and works really well if that’s something you’re looking for. Overall, a GREAT laptop for the price, especially if you can find it on sale!

The battery lasts great. I haven't had to recharge yet. I bought this solely to collect data and write at least 50 daily notes a day day for all of my kiddos. I would have used my iPad but my employers app works better on a Microsoft system. I know there is better ways to make this work better and will suit my needs. I am in the field 6-8 hours And it hooks up to my mobile hotspot in seconds. However, this won't allow me to print from my HP printer. Help please! Other than that I like my investment.

Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. The IdeaPad 130s-11 will print to compatible wireless (or USB cable connected) printers. Be sure your printer is compatible with Windows 10 S-Mode. We recommend you check with the printer manufacturer for compatibility. If your printer is not compatible with Windows 10 S-Mode, switch to Windows 10 Home 64-bit (without any additional cost) then pair the computer to your Windows 10 compatible printer based on the pairing instructions provided by the printer manufacturer. Better than the 2GB RAM model I bought last year.

The 4GB RAM is an improvement over an otherwise similar 2GB RAM model I purchased last year as an emergency fill-in device after my main laptop was stolen. While the pre-installed Windows 10 Home in S Mode is somewhat limiting, I didn't upgrade to a "regular" version of Windows 10. On the 2GB RAM device, my having done so resulted in lesser performance, and I didn't want to take a chance with the current one despite its 4GB RAM.
