But the webcam is 300p, its the worst camera ever. And I owe a Toshiba from 2013 which webcam is way much better that this 2020 laptop. DO NOT BUY FOR TELECONFERENCE

Was easy to setup and get it working. With the OS it takes a while to go through the setup. It came with Windows 10 S? Not sure what the "S" is for but I had to go through a few steps to turn that OFF. For what it will be used for, which is NOT work or school related it will be fine. Looks nice and the spouse likes it.

Fast basic laptop

I got it for my wife who has no patience for poor performance; and it has not disappointed. The SSD makes it so much faster than a similar Lenovo with HDD that we own -- no waiting at startup or for pages to load. (Note that we elected to not utilize S-mode because it seemed to slow things down a lot on the other laptop.) This Ideapad is slim, lightweight, good looking and has a surprisingly solid feel. As an open-box item for under $300, it has been a real value.
