I just don't like the fact that if you come out of "Smart Mode" to install a third-party plugin, then you can't go back to smart mode to run at optimal performance. That's the only bummer. The speed is really fast even with just 4GB and a Celeron processor.

I have one similar and love it for those reasons. We bought two of these for our grandchildren for Christmas. They haven't had them long enough to give very many details on battery life etc.

It is very light weight and has very good battery life. If you just want to be able to do basic computing, like email, word processing, etc., this unit fits the bill. It makes an excellent notebook to throw into your carryon when travelling.

It was quick and easy to setup and looks nice! It was a great deal, thoug I did buy a memory card to ensure they had adequate memory

I bought this for my daughter last Christmas, for the price I didn’t expect it to last. It has done everything she has asked of it. All homework, reports, movies, music, and video games that she could want. It’s still going, in book bag, soccer field, locker, gym, busses. I don’t think you can kill it.
