At the current price of $100 it’s a steal. Don’t buy this thinking you could play games, stream, etc.

Perfect Simple (and Cheap!) Laptop

It's a simple laptop, but if all you need to do is browse the web and word process (nothing hardware intensive like gaming or video editing), it is perfect.

For just $99 this laptop is a perfect for simple daily use. For gaming this is probably not ideal. I would definitely recommend this laptop.

Posted .Hello, Angel, we are sorry to hear that you have not enjoyed your time with your IdeaPad 1i 14. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. Incompatible software will cause the system to not perform properly and impair function. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on-screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 877-453-6686.

The MAC computers are so user-friendly, I have had it for two years and it still runs as well as when I purchased it. I look forward to buying a newer one in the future.

So far this has been a great laptop for him. He mainly uses this for checking emails, web surfing, paying utilities etc. This is totally worth of the price we paid.

I didn’t expect Windows 11 to be as fast as it is on this thing. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still noticeably slower than an SSD, but it also much faster and more tolerable than the old Windows 10 laptops with HDDs, especially with how little ram this has. Primarily bought this as an outdoor travel laptop and for use with SDR and HAM radio applications, if it breaks from misuse oh well another $100 will do. Makes a good internet machine or lightweight application machine. You get what you pay for, but this machine still does the job. If you need nothing more than a Chromebook but want to sacrifice their performance for the need to run some Windows applications, this is the machine for you. Oh and the display is not bad, viewing angles are good but it’s just dull in colors.
