If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend users utilize the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds. We're glad to hear that it otherwise performs quite well for you, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback with us.

Regarding S mode – it is a more secure, lighter version of the Windows 11 Operating System that only allows the downloading of applications from the Microsoft Store. If you try to launch or install an executable or .exe file, the system prevents it. I bought it in June 2024 and now i regret this purchase: -the battery life is a joke. discharges from 80% to 20% in less than two hours. Doesn't behave as a laptop because I need to keep the power cord handy all the time. By the way, I applied all suggestions by Lenovo to save battery life and still the problem persists. -there are websites that the laptop can't access and keeps the turning wheel in the middle of the screen rotating forever. I can't explain this because it happens only with this laptop. I had to buy a Dell and it is working perfect. The problem is that I can't return this piece of junk because the returning time given is over. only 15 days. Now I am stuck with this junk. there is no resale price for this poor laptop. If you want to buy a laptop, don't buy this one or any Lenovo...they really suck in performance, battery life and i am beginning to have problems storing files in hard drive. problems are popping as times passes. Run away from Lenovo!!!
