This is a good laptop for a decent price. It is lightweight and the performance is good for basic everyday tasks. Occasionally you will experience some lagging, but it is short lived. The trackpad is sensitive, be very careful when typing or deleting anything. To clarify, I got this laptop when it was on sale for $299 before taxes. Recommendation: set your updates to auto. If the PC isn’t updated, you will experience performance issues.

I currently am transitioning from a 12-year-old Lenovo laptop with Windows 10 and am forced to upgrade to a Windows laptop with Windows 11 to have ongoing support from Microsoft due to the end of support for Windows 10 in October 2025. I was extremely pleased to discover that Best Buy was offering the Lenovo laptop with my preferred configuration, at a special discount because the laptop was OPEN BOX. The condition of my new Lenovo Ideapad 1i is as described in the offer as "excellent". The performance is remarkably faster due to the latest Intel Core i3 processor and SSD storage. Overall, this new laptop is an exceptional value particularly when compared to new laptop prices of similar configurations. I suggest if you are shopping for any computer needs consider all options provided by Best Buy for your total satisfaction! I also recommend Lenovo laptops because of my long term (12 years) experience with their exceptional laptop - G570.

Great laptop for the price, it fast and very capable of performing multiple tasks like running complex queries and downloading movies.

Got it for the wife for school she loves it screen is big does everything you need it to do. Highly recommend especially for the price

My son loves it. He can even play fortnite and roblox without any glitches! He loves that its touchscreen and lightweight as well.

This is a really good cheap computer. In spite of blah-blah-blah about fancy technical semantics the bottom line is that it works quite well for typical uses. Nope, it's not going to work for (blah-blah) finite element analysis but it will work nicely for the plebeian needs of mere mortal users. A caveat is that its (uh, native) operating system is a Windows 11 variant called "S" which places potentially severe constraints on what "apps" (programs) it will run. Not to worry since it provides a built-in no cost upgrade to normal Windows 11.

Great entry laptop. Touchscreen feature (which you can turn off) comes in handy. Works great for school / basic work applications.

Good performance if you add an extra 8gb 3200mhz ram to it. And re-install Win11 after you backup drivers from DriverStore.

it's lighter in weight than I had imagined it to be plus the ease of use.

Perfect laptop for all my on-the-go school needs. I upgraded the ram and storage on it and it performs amazingly for a very affordable price! Not bad at all.

Been a Lenovo user for a while...bought my 1st model which was a YOGA 14" which unfortunately is coming up EOL October 2025. (w10 PRO) I'm a heavy user of Lenovo's enterprise line of PCs, mainly MINI & SFF models which are built like a tank. Just purchased this for my wife to use for her work, she's an RN and will use it for general tasks including continuing education and work related workloads. Was on sale for a real good price so we decided not to wait and purchased it. Checks out all the boxes except for one major IMHO flaw. The RAM is soldered on, so we are stuck with 8GB. I have multiple PCs including gaming rigs and the minimum specs for RAM that I use is 16GB. Even my YOGA has expendable memory...not dual channel but better than being stuck on 8GB. C'mon Lenovo...10GB or 12GB would've been better; don't be like Apple, LOL! It may or may not be adequate for my wife's needs, we shall see. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. Also hopefully the camera will be durable because the one on my YOGA stopped working right after the warranty ran out. Fingers crossed it'll be a good machine.

This laptop is great for regular everyday use, student use, and more. I use discord, slack, and other type of applications and they run with no issue. Honestly, once you turn off safe mode this laptop is amazing! The battery life is pretty good too and it's light weight. It is great value for the money. 10/10 would recommend.

Bought it for my wife and she loves it. very easy to work with, graphics are great and loves the touchscreen.

Excellent for general use no lag. Like touch screen looks great. Only con is battery life. Watching a 2hr movie will leave you at about 30%
