Seems they've done away with lots of the bloatware software. Battery holds up about 3-4 hours with internet surfing-email, purchases and some video watching. Only has 2 usb a and 1 usb c, so could use at least 1 or 2 more of each. Also could use a palpable "divider" on the lower section of the touchpad. Overall solid purchase for deal of day.

Fortunately, the salesperson that assisted me listened to what I needed and we were able to determine the Lenovo Ideapad1i was pretty much what I needed. For my purposes the 8GB Memory was perfectly adequate, as well as the 256 SSD. The battery life is good and the 15" touchscreen is very easy to maneuver. Also, the tech staff assisted in transferring data from the old computer in a timely manner. Well pleased with the purchase experience.

If you have someone in your life that has a miserable dog slow computer that you just can't even believe... point them to this. I especially like how the touchscreen works on this simple model. Some fancier screens have a sort of glass cover on top and are not as responsive as this. This is totally fine. Acceptable refresh for people on a budget. Would look at Ideapads again. Getting out of Windows S mode was very simple.
