Absolutely love this computer. It does what I need it to do. Its not slow and i love that its touch screen aswell. Super easy to set up and was not crazy in the pocket. Definitely recommended for college students

This economical laptop has it all. It has a superior screen compared to most newer laptops. The screen is FULL HD 1920x1080 resolution (equivalent of Blu-ray) while similar laptops only offer LOWER quality HD or HD+. Also, the IPS screen gives vivid colors and contrast with deep black compared to inferior TN screens offering weak gray for black. The Intel Core i3-1215U CPU and 256GB SSD are both reasonably fast. This is an ideal everyday laptop for typical Internet and email users. This initially ships in Windows 11 "S mode" limiting program installations to the Microsoft store app. I recommend buyers follow Microsoft instructions to switch out of "S mode" for normal Windows 11 home so any programs may be easily installed. A great buy!

Perfect laptop for my needs. I use Microsoft Office for Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. Fast internet using chrome for searching and accessing various email accounts. I use zoom virtual meetings. I don’t see much difference in windows 11 from 10. I added an external speaker because the built in speaker volume is too low at 100%. I also purchased an inexpensive cd reader to use if needed. Overall very satisfied with speed, battery, keyboard, memory and storage.

This is a great computer. It has a touch screen, which is a great feature for reading E-books or long documents. The charge lasts really well and I love the size of the screen.

Got it for school work and it’s great . Living the touchscreen for PowerPoints and group projects battery life is great for what I use and it’s light.

This is a great laptop! I really enjoy the touchscreen feature as well as the speed. The 15.6" screen size makes it perfect for travel but large enough for eye comfort. The 8GB of memory gives me plenty of space for school assignments. And the best part of the Ideapad 1i is that it meets all the requirements for my at home job!! Great price, great purchase!!

This laptop, is perfect, the speed is great. The display and the amount of work you can see all at once it is great. It’s battery life is awesome, and it’s very easy to use.

Decent but not spectacular. Got this to replace an Acer Chromebook Plus in order to get memory and storage upgradeability and the ability to install Linux without hacking. Screen is not high density (just HD) but goes far brighter than (for example) the Chromebook Plus and has good contrast and color subjectively. Performance is good, build quality seems reasonable for the price point. Keyboard has some important misses, most notably the handling of the arrow keys in the layout, which is pretty terrible, but I'm getting used to it. Biggest flaw is the speakers. They clearly do not intend for you to use onboard sound. Will not fill a room, but also cannot be heard from about four feet away. Tinny and tiny. Pales in comparison to the Chromebook Plus or any other modern laptop. So don't get this is you plan to do audio multimedia consumption or performance with your laptop. Installed Kubuntu. Went very smoothly, all hardware supported. Some minor stability issues, most notably around suspend/resume (GUI environment hangs on resume), but these have only bitten me a couple of times in a week of pretty regular use including a lot of opens/closes. I can live with it. Have not yet opened it to see about upgradeability but I have an SODIMM on the way to double RAM to 16GB and we'll look into a new SSD down the road a bit.

I purchased this laptop as a replacement for my previous laptop and so far I am pleasantly surprised with it. It was very easy to set up, is super light and definitely easy to handle. I love the touch screen which I wasn't sure about when I saw it had one, but it grows on you and it's easier to use than the touchpad.

Bought for my wife as her 1st gen Surface was finally on its last leg as technology advances. Touchscreen not necessary but nice little feature since she is used to it from the Surface. Primary use is email, document creation for events and mailings, and the typical photo and video viewing and playing. Easy set up. Light weight. Just as any Windows product you should disable auto start up apps and other bloatware for performance. Not a fan of McAfee and it's bloatedware. Refused the install and prevented from asking to install again. If on O365 already you have immediate access to your files and OneDrive once you sign in to your account. Nice entry or standard entry were one does not need substantial RAM for app and took performance. Not something to build apps or software with.

I actually purchased this laptop for my child but I also use it as well. The build quality of it is really good and I love the touch screen as well. The touch screen is very responsive and the computer is responsive as well. My kiddo uses the laptop to play games on it and it runs really well. They also do a lot of Minecraft with a ton of mods and it keeps up.

Great for college students. Can have up to 12 tabs open and is pretty fast. Light weight and big touch screen.
