Perfect College Laptop

Not mind-blowing powerful or anything, but it does do a very good job for how ergonomic it is. Does especially well at maintaining optimal operating temps, as well as the clean display. The biggest problem is Microsoft trying to be anything besides an operation system.

I have one that is 9 or 10 years old which still works fine except it cannot upgrade to Windows 11. Saw the advertisement for this one and called the help number to discuss and purchased two of them. One for me and one for my wife. Opened a Best Buy credit card also and received some credits which I will use in the near future to get a case and an outside disc drive. In addition I am a Total member and think the world of the Geek Squad.

Screen is large and clear. Set is a simple process almost seamless. Worth every penny as it was replacing my 13 year old Dell Inspiron laptop.

Though I feel at times the laptop's mousepad is not that great. It sometimes bugs out, and you need to wait for a while. Though overall the performance and quality are very nice for its price.

Regarding the touchpad problem you shared, we're sorry to hear you're experiencing this, and we'd like to help resolve this. To start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.

Great office laptop

I use it for outlook, spreadsheets, adobe and freightdata all while using firefox with 50 tabs. The ram is sufficient. The ssd could be a little but bigger but for the price it was a good start.

For her use case this laptop is plenty powerful. She mainly uses it to display recipes while cooking. However her old laptop the hinge was the weak spot. This laptop has a full length hinge, so hopefully it will be more durable.

So much faster than my old laptop

Started up super fast compared to my old laptop that had a HDD hard drive. I have a Lenovo desk top that’s 10+ years old and still running good so I think this one will last me many years.
