    Poor Battery Life

    Overall, it’s a good laptop in performance and such. However, battery life is terrible. Started a video at 100% charge and it lasted 2:45 min before low battery warning. Nothing else runs in the background. Outer cover does show hand prints and other marks. I do like all the available ports. Would prefer a USB C charge and not the old school circular plug. Audio quality from speakers is lackluster in that it sounds like a tunnel.

      To start, regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

      Also, we appreciate your comments regarding the casing finish, USB-C charging support, and speakers. These points have been noted and may be considered for future design improvements.

    I didn’t realize this computer would be so hard to sign into all the time every time I wanna use it I have to login with my bit login and also it doesn’t have a spot for an ethernet cable and it doesn’t connect to my Wi-Fi in my house very well, so I literally have used this like two times. I’m not very happy with it.

      To start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the Windows BitLocker by applying the latest version of Windows and Wi-Fi issue by applying updated networking drivers.

    was mislead on Processor speed advertised as up to 3-4GB. out of the box 1.3GB! decent for Daily LITE USE. any Quality streaming or game play, Keep Shopping in my opinion!

    Selling Used Computers as New Computers

    Would give 0 stars. Had to return. This is the second used computer that Best Buy has sold me as a new computer. I bought this same computer 1.5 years before and it completely crashed. I liked the computer and hoped it was a fluke so purchased again, received a used computer with damage. I believe the first one was also used and had issues. I will not buy a computer from Best Buy again.

    Going by to return or exchange the computer I received. Well in the process of doing computer setup I had to leave so I close the computer and brought it with me. And then once I was able to take the computer out and tried to complete setup the screen would no longer pull anything up at all. Just stayed a black screen. Not sure what's going on but hopefully they can figure it out and replace it. My son got one just like it a few weeks prior. And had no problems with it at all. Maybe I just got a lemon.....humm

    Battery life is miserable. Turned down the display brightness to less than 1/2 and still 1 hour in and till I feel like it needs to get plugged in.

    Defective computer

    Computer worked fine for a month. Since then it stops and restarts, freezes, and it won't connect on startup. I started a repair ticket w/Lenovo. They said it was repaired, it's not. I escalated this twice, no response.

    On the description or specifications the speed of the clock is greater than 3 MHZ but the actual is 1.3MHZ. Battery is less than 50% of what been told on specification.

We would like to clarify that the Intel Core i5-1334U is tested to reach its peak at 4.6 GHz this may be different than what you may see within your Windows Settings as it may be showing the idle speed of your processor, which in many cases can be much lower. We understand your frustration about battery life and would like to offer a few solutions to help you.

      Firstly, please check for and install all available updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings. This will guarantee the system is using the newest updates that optimize power management and fix bugs that cause unnecessary battery drain. To check for updates in Lenovo Vantage, start by launching the Lenovo Vantage app and selecting the “Check for updates” button on the right-hand side of the homepage. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.

      Your laptop also comes with the ability to change performance profiles. This can be managed within Lenovo Vantage. Start by launching the Lenovo Vantage app, then select the expand menu icon in the top-left corner of the display, next select Device settings, scroll down until you reach “Power modes’ where you can select your preferred mode. We suggest “Battery saver” which will offer the best battery life. Please note you can also change profiles simply using the Fn+Q hotkey.

    Don't recommend for students
