Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

Which i didnt realize til later that it was wrong. Next time i will carefully check my receipt.

I first bought a lenovo back in 2017 and enjoyed it up until microsoft ended their support for windows 10. i cant see owning anything other then lenovo. thankyou for your support.

The new Unit was priced great and was an easy startup. Very light and portable which is great as it needs to move from the office to the shop. The keyboard was the perfect size and the num pad is a great benefit!

Its performance is excellent and reliable. My only complaint is the plastic exterior casing. It constantly attracts smudges and fingerprints, which makes the outside always look kinda gross.

My rating is a 4, rather than 5, because the computer came with no operating system pre-loaded.....which would have been awesome had it not forced me to load windows 11. Took literal hours to load everything I was "forced" to load. I purchased this as a gift, so luckily the recipient had no clue.

I needed to tertrieve the data on the hard druvrme. I remember going to best buy to have this service performed in the past. The onlune appoitment booking was very easy to use and upon going to the store. It was recommended i join the preferred member club and the service would be performed for no charge. The service was very accomodating and i even applied and got approved for a BB Visa card. In the past month since I've been back i have purchased a new laptop, gone to two locations numerous times and have always received excellent customer service.

great price - nice machine!

My wife's old laptop (10+ years old) was getting battery swelling issues which affected the keyboard and also, the old wifi card just couldn't keep up any more. This new Ideapad is just about perfect. The only downfall(?) is my wife liked the older keyboard (full size) versus this one with the numberpad as well, as it shifts her typing to the left side of the laptop.
