Having heard of the Geek Squad I took a deep breath and walked into Best Buy. I was well taken care of by the knowledgeable young man who waited on me. There was no question too elementary and answers were easy to understand. I fell in love with my Lenovo laptop. I am finishing a manuscript. The computer is comfortable. I purchased a wireless keyboard so writing is a breeze. The outside teal color is fabulous. My desktop is going to have to adjust :-) to a poly-computer relationship.

Great laptop

I can do watch all my movies from my laptop to my television. I just wish the keyboard lit up. Also when I shut down my laptop the battery still goes down. It’s like my laptop is in sleep mode… I’ll shut down the laptop and as soon as I open it the laptop automatically turns on. When I left home (8) hours my laptop was on 62 in the shut down mode but when I came back it was on 60. I’m not sure if something is wrong but I don’t like that feature this laptop provides. I want my laptop to stay shut down and not be secretly active in the background.

If you are shutting down your computer by closing the lid, but find that the battery is draining while the lid is closed, check to be sure that you are actually shutting down the computer completely by closing the lid.
