The IdeaPad 3 15 ships with both audio as well as on-screen, step by step setup and activation instructions for the Windows 10 Operating System. This model ships with Windows 10 S-mode 64-bit Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Here is a link to Lenovo Migration Assistant software to help you easily transfer files from your old computer to your new one: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/software/lenovomigrationassistant/

hate the keyboard layout

Keep mis typing because the keys are positioned very weirdly. If I was more use to the setup maybe it wouldn't be so bad but going from a Dell laptop to this is incredibly difficult. Thinking about returning.
