I like the capability of the touch screen which is handy when scrolling through long lists. However, I do still use a separate mouse for most tasks as that is what I'm used to. The keyboard has a good touch and it's easy to type on and unlike my old Dell it has a light for 'Num Lock'. My only problems were with Microsoft who makes it very hard to choose a browser other than their Edge which I don't care for.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 82H8018SUS. This model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Currently, the Microsoft Store has the Firefox 3rd Party Browser available. If you want other 3rd party web browsers, you wll need to switch out of S-Mode for Windows 10 Home: Here is a link to instructions for switching from Windows 10 S-Mode to Windows 10 Home: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4456067/windows-10-switch-out-of-s-mode

Great productivity design laptop

I love that is has USB ports, HDMI, and the headphone jack on the left side. On my Mac I am constantly searching for dongles. The Lenovo stays cool with the Adobe suite running and prototyping. Windows 11 is running great on it. Thank you for a fun and productive touch screen laptop that helps me stay focused and working hard.

I do like the fingerprint reader and it's faster than an older PC with regular hard drive. The backlit keyboard is also a nice feature. There is no DVD drive but I'm guessing this is becoming obsolete? Also it would have been nice to have two more USB A ports. It only comes with two and one is usually dedicated for my wireless mouse. I might have to look for a bluetooth mouse. Sound is decent but not astounding.
