Switched off Win 11 S-Mode easily. Not happy that the BB price drop of $70 three days after I bought it. My loss I guess. Think you should honor a price drop over the holidays. On my own again.

It has great speed and it was easy to set up different apps. I have a little trouble with the fingerprint security, but otherwise I am very satisfied with this purchase.

A great laptop for the price.

Within budget, it comes with Windows 11 and serves well its purpose as a home office device. I purchased it three weeks ago and have no glitch as of today. Even with Windows 11, I was able to easily transfer the data and applications I had on my old laptop.

Set up was easy, came with Microsoft suite & antivirus access for a short period. Easily hooked up with my additional monitor. Really pleased with this purchase. Speed is good, display is very nice for the price, sound is good and runs all programs with no glitches so far. It’s very thin so easy to carry anywhere, with the advantage of a nice size screen. Plenty of memory and with the SSD and Quad-Core processor, it's fast. It's also a clean design and with the addition of the 10-key, this has been the go-to laptop for all my new employees.

Was going to purchase a laptop with a similar processor but 4x larger hard drive, but decided on this one. Glad I did. This laptop is a bargain at that price; it was a lower price than any other laptop with an i5 and a FHD screen, plus the laptop has 12GB memory. So far the laptop has performed very well.

Great value for video conferencing

This fit the bill and is more than sufficient for video conferencing. 12GB of memory was nice instead of the typical 8GB that most laptops are configured with.

I purchased for my husband as I already own a Lenovo from 4 years ago and still going strong. There have been no issues with this new Lenovo.

Posted .This Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 82H801DQUS, ships with a Integrated 45Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 7 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

As much as i don't like the idea of S mode, it makes sense to keep it on to protect the OS and let them figure it out. If anything i would ask for more storage space.
