Great performance, unbeatable price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to my old laptop from 2014, this Lenovo is a rocketship. Starts up in less than 10 seconds. The screen is sharp and crisp and I love the matte finish. Keyboard feels nice. Powerful enough to run all the programs I use (autocad, matlab, excel, word, etc). Don't be fooled by the price and don't let the employees at Bestbuy try to upsell you. I asked an employee at bestbuy and he tried to tell me that this computer wasn't right for me because it was in Windows S mode and had "only an i5 processor and 12gb of ram". Windows S mode is literally the easiest thing to remove from this computer (takes 2 clicks of the keyboard after prompted) and unlocks the potential of this laptop. While the i5 processor and 12 gb of ram are the same spec as the $700+ laptops he was trying to sell me. I would not hesitate to buy at the $450 sale price and will problem purchase one for my parents when it goes on sale again. Only downside is the 256 gb SSD, which I plan to upgrade if necessary.

Posted .This Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 82H801DQUS, ships with a backlit keyboard. To activate the keyboard backlighting, hold down the Fn Key and tap the Spacebar at the same time. Once to turn on the backlighting, twice to increase the backlight intensity and three times to turn off the backlighting.
