I am very pleased with the quality and performance of the Lenovo ideapad 3 core i5 laptop. It has an excellent display and lighted keyboard. I would highly recommend for office use, streaming video, and internet surfing. However, this is not a gaming computer.

Honestly i love this computer, it worked well for college and i can play some video games on it, nothing too demanding but stuff like sims, minecraft, and dead by daylight. It lets me do everything i want

Sleek and speedy laptop for a great price, especially if you can get it on sale! I managed to get it out of S Mode, but you have to be patient and give it a few tries. Whether it’s on S Mode or off, it’s a fast laptop. No complaints here!

I bought it for office work. It's fast and does the job pretty well. For the price range, more disk space or a face id compatible camera would have been nice, however, that's not my priority and overall, I am quite pleased with it- so far so good.

Received for Christmas gift really enjoying it. Easy to use,easy to carry around, speed and graphics are of superior quality. This is my first laptop and I recommend it to anyone. It is a good laptop for any purpose you need it for. I use it for work, finances and lesure.

For the price, you can't beat this laptop. It's got an 11th Gen i5 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD. You can't get that anywhere else at this price point. Or at least I couldn't when I was looking around before I bought this. I actually bought two of them, one for me and one for my wife. My only complaint is that it the USB C ports aren't Thunderbolt. My older laptop has a Thunderbolt 3 port and it's nice because I can hook up 2 external monitors with that port alone, and another the HDMI port. This monitor only supports one external monitor. But I can't ding it for that at this price point. This is great deal for someone looking for a basic laptop that won't be obsolete in a year or two like others would be in this price range.

Excellent office/basic usage laptop. Don't expect it to game well though as while it does have Intel's highly touted iris xe graphics its extremely low wattage and doesn't perform nearly as well as other more performance orientated laptops. In fact its very disappointing in that aspect and I wish igpu wattage information was easier to come by on product pages. Of course I didn't expect it to be a capable gaming machine but dag I at least hoped it would pull some very light gaming as that's how intel advertises their Iris XE graphics. Not Lenovo's fault as they in no way advertise it that way but just something you should be aware of if you have fallen for intel's marketing. Everything else though is a winner for the current "on sale" price.

I’ve had the computer for 10 months now. It’s been one of my least favorite computers that I have owed. I could go on for hours but to save you some time out of your life, I’ll try to condense my thoughts: The Good: starts up fairly quickly, you have control over startup programs and can play around with the settings. Windows 11 is very customizable and easy to navigate. I like the ability to find what you are looking for quickly. . I’ve used windows 11 since initial setup, no issues there. But it just will from time to time freeze or have a difficult time the closer you get to filling the memory. I now have multiple SSDs plugged in so I recommend a higher than 256GB SSD that’s on this model. The 12GB RAM isn’t enough for my needs so I’m definitely upgrading next time as well. My experiences haven't been terrible but not very great either. I would go with another model. The main reasons is because of the battery life being short, hardware issues, and the amount of added paid features to help protect the computer on an ongoing basis. First the hardware: I have had issues with the original charger not charging the laptop a few months into owning it. As a remedy, I have used a universal charger. But recently that stopped working (due to a crack in the plug that goes into the computer—unrelated to the computer itself). So now, I have upgraded the warranty on the computer and will be sending it in. Second reason: The battery lasts only for a couple of hours. I have practically left the charger plugged in after a few months because of this issue. Which defeats the purpose of owning a laptop. And, this is with changing the settings to run at maximum energy savings vs performance. Finally, Lenovo has it set up where you pay for Vantage (which monitors the computer and offers update suggestions and overall computer health) but this is for an additional fee. Then they have more upgrade features for warranty which if you have just the basic then you get little value in regards to assistance with troubleshooting and customer support. I bought a warranty thinking I’d be covered but quickly found out it was the basic coverage and gets you very little. Of course it sets suggestions to make upgrades for “better customer service features”. I personally have a hard time understanding this model of paying for customer service for a product you already bought. It shouldn’t cost more and more to get somebody on the phone that will provide some assistance. Also if you don’t upgrade then you have to send your laptop in the mail and I can imagine how long that would take, so of course I am paying the extra $100 for upgraded warranty plan that extends my existing warrenty. Additional Notes: One thing that I feel strongly has helped to prevent any internal issues related to heat is having a cooling stand that fits under the laptop with 3-4 fans blowing and helps to keep the temperature from getting really high and harming the hardware inside. (I’ve used multiple stands and some are better than others!)

I love my new Lenovo Laptop I purchased from Best Buy. It has plenty of storage and memory. I love having a touch screen where I don’t have to depend on the mouse. It’s very light and easy to travel with.

I really love this computer. I have only had it for about a week, so I guess most computers are great at first. But, it's whip-fast and I love the fingerprint scanning power button. I actually thought that was a silly feature, but now that I have it, it's awesome! No password screen needed, just tap the power button and you're in. It is strictly a work computer for me, so speed/performance is all I am looking for. But I would definitely buy this for my personal computer too. And probably will when mine needs replacing. Also, the keys are really quiet. And the screen brightness is 100 times better than my last Lenovo, which is so dull I almost didn't buy this one. So if you have another Lenovo with a crappy screen, this one is great so no worries there.

I'm a system administrator and have been in IT for 20+ years and have worked with many laptops. This is by all means a little better than a budget laptop at a decent price. It light, fast, has a few extra features most cheap laptops don't, and its Lenovo. The only brand I trust. One thing you should do as soon as you take it out of the box is upgrade the hard drive. 256GB is not enough. My only disappointment is that this laptop DOES NOT run Linux Mint very well, I've never ran into that issue before so I am stuck with Windows 11 until Linux Mint can update. None of the distros work very well unfortunately.

I haven’t bought a new computer for at least 10 years. I replaced my old Lenovo laptop with this one. I can’t believe how much faster it is, how easily it flows between functions, and how much lighter it is!

I don’t know much about laptops but this one does everything that i need and it’s fast. The touchscreen is perfect for me. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Thanks to the associate who suggested it.

This a great computer for the price. Have not had any issues with it. Speed is fine for internet and running programs. Do not play games with it. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

The overall performance, display, etc of this laptop are great. For its specs the discounted price (under $500) was irresistable to me and so far im not disappointed and would recommend it to anyone.

This laptop is exactly what I needed! Fast processor, lots of memory, touch screen and it has the keypad integrated into the keyboard (huge bonus for me). Easy to use, nothing complicated!

This laptop is amazingly fast. Incredibly fast. Between the 12GB of RAM and SSD, never wait for a website. And excellent for online games, as well. And the touch screen is a nice touch.

The laptop is a fairly good choice for me mainly because I don't necessarily need a lot of storage. What I like is the price, look, and the sleekness. What I hate about this computer is that it locks me out often even with the use fingerprint confirmation, and says I must use password instead, which I often forget. Then I have to go through e-mail password confirmations which I also forget passwords for. What a hassle. It gives a warning when I try to use the google search engine over edge that I must change computer from one format to another, which isn't advised, due to security. I am not tech savvy, so I have kept the operating system that was already installed. It's a good purchase but I won't purchase this brand again. I like some of the other brands better

I got this on sale for Black Friday. Its an affordable laptop with Touch screen and backlit keyboard. Great for basic functioning and work related activities. Not a hardcore gaming laptop IMO.
