Had to replace a 2yr old dell product with hardware failure. Hoping the components in this are more robust, but time will tell. Once you disable S-mode it's a great machine!

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 81X800KLUS. This model ships with Windows 11 S-Mode, 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Wobbly Laptop

When you rest your palms on the area below the buttons, the laptop is wobbly. If they can make a more sturdy laptop, it would be better.

I don't think it would suit for proffesional use, but for students is just perfect.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it for a business trip, but when i recieved it and opened it up it had a steady popping noise from the computer. i contacted bestbuy and they said i could send it back but i couldn't cauase then i won't have a computer for my trip, anyways it had no service on my trip i get home contact best buy see if i can get store credit for the computer aned everyone was like yes you can. WRONG after 15 day after you buy anything from best buy you cant get your money back so beware. so i have had it for a month and used it about an hour just to set it up and it sits in the repair shop for another 2 weeks. so would i buy it again NO, how good does it work ask the repair shop they have had more time with it then me.

HUGE weak point - the charging port uses a very small diameter plug that is fragile. She's broken several of the plugs - both factory and aftermarket. Newer versions use USB C style plug - get that model.
