Happy to get to know Lenovo

After a bit of learning to use Windows 11, eveything has gone very well. Love the touch screen.

The price was right and it is capable of all our needs for the time being. The quality seems ok even though the build feels a little questionable. Time will tell, but I'm sure it will last the obligatory few years.

Great value, disable S-mode

Had to replace a 2yr old dell product with hardware failure. Hoping the components in this are more robust, but time will tell. Once you disable S-mode it's a great machine!

Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. If you choose to switch out of S-Mode for Windows 11 Home: Here is a link to instructions for switching from Windows 11 S-Mode to Windows 11 Home: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/switching-out-of-s-mode-in-windows-4f56d9be-99ec-6983-119f-031bfb28a307#WindowsVersion=Windows_11. Didn't have it 18 months and the display screen separated from the body and broke the glass. Also the back light on the keyboard is very pale.

It was easy to setup and has Windows 11 in S mode which makes it work easier with Microsoft Apps. It is easy to convert it to regular Windows 11. The computer is great for what my sister uses it for. We added Microsoft 365 which has many features.

I don't think it would suit for proffesional use, but for students is just perfect.

This was a choice between another name brand which also goes on sale often. I caught the Lenova at a great price which these days is a good thing. Screen is really nice and having the touch screen option was the main reason for buying this model.

Needed a budget friendly laptop for recording with my elgato captures for gameplay and this one definitely delivers. Takes a little getting used to when you’re so used to Mac, but it’s a super clean machine!

I use it as a secondary device for browsing, playing games reading news. I have multitasked with it doest get slow or drag fornan i3 processor.
