I like the touch screen too! I ditched the Censoring crap "S Mode" so I can download what I want!

Shipped with Windows 11 which has which has restrictions regarding non Microsoft products, Turning off S mode is required to load them but then it supposedly can't be turned on again. Big headache. Still using my old laptop for now until I have time to straighten things out. Everything else seems good, (speed, graphics, sound, etc.)

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 81X800KLUS. This model ships with Windows 11 S-Mode, 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. This model also ships with a standard QWERTY keyboard with 10-Key Numeric Pad included. If you choose to switch out of S-Mode for Windows 11 Home: Here is a link to instructions for switching from Windows 11 S-Mode to Windows 11 Home: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4456067/windows-10-switch-out-of-s-mode

I wouldn’t recommend for gaming or heavy rendering. You could upgrade memory and nvme ssd inside.

This is the 2nd Lenovo laptop in 3 years to stop charging after a several months. Will not buy this brand again

If your battery level ever reaches zero percent charge, just plug your IdeaPad 3 15 in, using the included 65W round tip (2-pin, wall-mount) AC adapter/charger, 100-240V, 50-60Hz, that ships with this IdeaPad 3 15 and you can power on the laptop and use the computer while it is charging.
