Maybe I'm old fashioned or something, but I thought that was one of the things that distinguished a laptop from a tablet. Also the computer's built in mousepad barely works so I have to use the hand one at all times. It is extremely frustrating! I've spent so much time trying to adapt to it and get all my passwords etc. on it so that is the only reason I don't bring it back and return it! The sales person and the person I spoke to on the phone about another issue have been helpful, but it's hard for me to get to the store, and I need the computer to get work done or I would bring it and ask for help. Plus, I would ask them to get everything I have on cd onto the computer, and to do some uploading that requires a cd.

Posted .Although there is no built in CD/DVD drive within this Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, you can use an external, USB-based, Windows compatible CD/DVD drive like this one with this laptop: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-8x-external-usb-double-layer-dvdrw-cd-rw-drive-black/5852919.p?skuId=5852919. Regarding the touchpad, you can adjust the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.
