A friend spilled coke on my previous laptop & that was the end of that laptop...and that friend! No, just kidding, we're still friends. I went to Best Buy for a new one. I explained my abilities & use for a new one to the young man helping me. He directed me to Lenovo Ideapad 3, 15" laptop. I bought it. I had no problem setting it up and away I went. Easy Peasy! I'm very happy with my Lenovo Laptop.

Many posters said what a good deal it was for the price I purchased it for. They were right! This thing is perfect for Zoom, email, Youtube, surfing the web and more. I set it up, took it out of Windows S mode and I am loving it. Google it up on Youtube and it will show you how easy it is to upgrade the ram, add a hard disk, and other things. It will be coming up in BestBuy's Black Friday sale again for the price that I paid.

I needed a Windoze machine to supplement the Mac environment. The IdeaPad fulfills this role quite well. Having a bit of trouble getting used to keyboard since it is offset with the numeric pad to the right. Used to having a keyboard centered on the screen, Screen quality is good. Speed isn't bad. A very good value at this price-point.

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop ships with a standard QWERTY keyboard with 10 key numeric pad included. The keyboard with 10-key pad is centered under the screen. The touchpad is centered under the QWERTY keys so that when the typist's hands are in the Home Position on the keyboard, the touchpad is centered under the typist's hands.

Wish the 8GB memory were more or could be expanded, but it's OK. For $300 (on sale) I can live with a smaller memory than I'd like. Haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity. I had compared this i3 to the Lenovo i5 with better memory but worse screen 1366 x 768 (only $50 more on sale), and chose to go with this i3 instead.

The same nice display, lightweight portability, i3/8GB RAM configuration is solid for everyday use, or light web-browsing. Power consumption is okay, though we won’t know how the battery capacity will fare in a few months with children using them. This review has been provided by my husband who set the laptops up and did a number of tests on the machines.

Best Value Laptop PERIOD!

I’m using this for working remotely and it does everything I need and more. 8gb of ram and a 256 ssd along with a new 10th gen i3 is UNHEARD of at this price point! Yes it’s not as nice as other models in the same price category. But the specs on this thing are 2-3 times better than anything else around the same cost. 10/10 recommend this model. For the price you literally can’t find anything else that comes even close to it.

Using the reviews and filters on the Best Buy web site I felt knowledgeable and confident when I invested in this laptop. Easy to order on-line with a gift card and pick up was within minutes. Weeks later no regrets. I can say it absolutely fits my needs and I am a satisfied customer

I got this for my aunt who just needed a basic laptop to pay her bills and read emails. It's nothing fancy, but the build quality is good, the specs are solid for a basic machine, the keyboard is nice. The screen is on the more dim side, but perfectly usable. If you just need a basic laptop, this is easy to recommend when it's on sale. At $400+ you may want to see what else you can find on sale.
