The newer laptop is working great and loving the larger memory, it’s being used mostly for work and freelance work. I know for sure that this Lenovo will last me a long time.

Great Basic Laptop

Got it on sale near end of 2020 for $299...very good deal!! It's a basic laptop, but works great for what I do...internet, watching Netflix, email etc.. starts up fast and responds well HDMI port is nice to connect to TV when streaming something not on regular apps like Roku No ethernet or telephone port, but easy to use adaptors (can get from Amazon) when I need them

Both were on Thanksgiving sale for pretty much sub $350/- price. After evaluating the 2 laptops this Lenovo was hands down a winner. I ended up keeping the Lenovo and returning the HP. The only issue I ran into was hooking it up with my HP printer. It was seamless with the HP laptop while with Lenovo it required downloading the drivers for the HP printer. Other than that, no issues.
