This Lenovo IdeaPad 3 with a 15 inch screen is perfect for me. With 8 gig of memory, I have no problem running several windows open and even YouTube in more than one tab. I can watch movies without interruption. Since I am retired, productivity was not my main reason for purchasing this laptop but was all the other things I need it for. I love the speed!

This was purchased to replace an 8 year old Toshiba. So far it's been a good replacement. Used it on and off for a week and only charged it once which took about 1 hour. The touch pad is very sensitive but it's nice since I made the adjustment. Only using it to surf and check emails, would definitely purchased again since the price was reasonable.

I've owned this computer for a couple of weeks now. It's given me no problems and has been really reliable. Does everything I want plus more. Can do some light gaming and with 8GB of ram, that should be enough for your needs. It's a good size and pretty lightweight. I picked this up for 300 bucks and for the the value, you really can't get a better deal.

Got this for my step son. I wanted to get him a good laptop for school that wasn't a chrome book. Plenty of space RAM. Screen looks really good. Just so you know it doesn't have an optical drive but that's for us because we stream everything. He's super happy with it. Well built laptop. Would definitely recommend. Might actually get one for the wife.

I never had any problems with this laptop. I used it mostly for The Sims 4 and browsing the internet/streaming. Unfortunately a glass Dolphin fell off my bookshelf onto it and shattered the screen(yes seriously). I would definitely suggest it to someone for a more affordable option.

This review is being written a couple years after this model has been discontinued, but consider it a tribute to Lenovo. I'm a computer tech and this was my wife's laptop. After a couple years, she "developed" a problem with her keyboard where it was doing all kinds of crazy stuff. Was disappointed until I saw evidence of wiped up liquid on the palm rest, confronted her and she admitted to spilling a beer on the keyboard. These are easy to work on compared to other manufacturers. I opened up the laptop by removing the bottom cover and discovered that replacing the keyboard would be too much work so I bought a whole new palmrest (top part of laptop), and transferred, the motherboard, battery, harddrive, etc over. Not something most people could do without experience but as an experienced tech, it was one of the easier procedures I have ever done like this. Laptop is as good as new and will sell it to a customer needing a laptop. Love me a Lenovo.

Very happy with this laptop, which is a huge improvement over my aged ThinkPad. The boot-up is fast and so is web-page loading. My only (slight) criticism is the keyboard, which is not as finger-friendly as the old laptop's. But the much lighter weight and versatility of the new IdeaPad more than makes up for that. If you can get this IdeaPad on sale, as I did, go for it!

This laptop performs very well and it’s fast. I really like the organization of all the features and tools. It was very easy to setup and load MS Office. It was up and running in no time! I like the design and the camera lens door so I don’t need to put a piece of tape over the camera lens when not using the video. Great product for the price!!

Fast processor and clear screen. I think it’s a decent laptop for the price. Everything works well, including webcam. The only complaint i have is there is no USB drive slot on the right side. When I connect the wired mouse, I have to go all the way around to the left side which is a little inconvenient because I’m right handed. Other than that it’s been very good so far.

When I first purchased my Lenovo lap top, I was not sure how I was going to like. I am older and was afraid it was going to be to heavy for me. I was wrong it is pretty light, the screen is a decent size I am not having to squint my eyes to be able to read thing. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Don't remember this young ladies name, I am sure of the purchased date either, but this young lady waited on me, and for some reason I knew that I needed a new laptop but I didn't know what I needed, I only knew how much I wanted to spin. So this young approached me and asked what I was looking for and she then began to ask questions like what will you need this laptop for so after explaining to this young lady how it would be used she began to sell me the Lenovo, I wasn't really interested because I didn't think that it was a good computer so after she explained how the Lenovo worked my question to her was are you lying to me ? she said no mam she stated this computer was perfect for me, now that I am learning to use my new notebook, I love it! she told me the truth!

Solid, light weight laptop. My previous laptop was about 8 years old and was larger and heavier. This Lenovo, especially for the price, has been a perfect upgrade . Great for non gamer that just needs laptop for everyday use . I am an accountant so the built in keypad is nice addition and adds to the positive experience for me as a user.
