A lot of laptop for a lot less

SSD hard drive. 8GB RAM and upgradeable to 16GB. 1 HDMI, 3 USB, SD slot, and headphone jack. Keyboard is solid to type on and love having a num pad. The trackpad could be a lot bigger considering how much real estate is below the keyboard. Also wish there was a USB-C port. The i3 processor is speedy and would be solid for browsing, multimedia, and light gaming. The shell gives it a nice premium and sturdy feel. Overall, this is a solid laptop for the money and looks more premium than the cost.

The build quality is good but not premium, all plastic with a brushed looking silver on it. You get all of the essentials with this machine, and no gimmicks. Great for virtually any audience. Bezels can be thinner though. -Keyboard keys have good contrast, and feels nice to type on. -Display is a great Full HD 1080p panel with IPS so the viewing angles are nicer. - i3 10035G1 is a fantastic processor for the price - 8GB of ram is plenty but I still recommend upgrading to 16 - Plenty of storage - Quiet under load, doesn't get hot

Only wish they still made them with a CD player, still have files, pics burned to them. Now have to buy an external drive to plug in via USB.

The laptop is packed with 10th Gen i3, 8GB, 256GB SSD, and 1080P Display for whole lots less. You can play some basic games such as: Roblox, Minecraft, League of Legends, and online arcade games. The laptop is good for school use with built in window defender for light security if you know what to do when browsing. The laptop is equipped with Window S mode which I find very frustrated to download Google Chrome browser and other software, and I would recommend to Google," How to remove Window S mode on window 10?" to get rid of it.

However the sleep feature turns the computer screen off after one to two MINUTES. I have to keep my hand on the mouse or move the mouse in order for the screen to stay on. This next thing I absolutely HATE, which has nothing to do with the computer, but Microsoft. I purposely did not make Microsoft Edge the default, but EVERY TIME THE SCREEN COMES ON MICROSOFT EDGE COMES UP AND I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF. VERY ANNOYING. MICROSOFT FORCES EVERYTHING ON EVERYONE. To sum up, the computer is excellentI, especially for the price.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop ships with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Microsoft Edge is the default internet browser within Windows 10 S-Mode. To select another default browser, you will need to switch out of S-Mode, then select your choice of new browser as your default. When my daughter was sent home for remote learning, I began searching for a laptop vs using her iPad for zoom classes. This checked all the boxes and has been great for my little first grader. Windows loads fast due to the SSD drive and is a 1000% improvement versus Chromebooks with similar prices. Although it’s shipped in windows S mode, it’s easily converted to “regular” windows. The internet connection has been strong, zero drops and everything has functioned as expected. Very happy with the purchase.
