I purchased this laptop when it was only $299.99 and i couldn’t have made a better decision! This laptop is absolutely amazing! The display is what sold me! It’s pretty much a gaming laptop! I only use it for school, but I needed something where the display is superior as I am constantly staring at the screen! This laptop didn’t let me down! Lenovo has done it again! Thank you Beat Buy for the great deal!

It is a very well made laptop. There is a numerical keypad on it, which is very useful.vit was easy to set up and start up. Very good value for the money spent.

Nice, simple laptop - good value for the cost. Does all that I need for basic work and personal use using Microsoft, emails, teleconferencing.... touchpad is a little wonky - doesn't always respond unless you use exactly the right target. Our one complaint is that it appears incompatible with our new TCL t.v. - will not connect via HDMI cable, signal not detected, and no one in Lenovo tech dept has been able to resolve the issue. We've spent hours w/ their customer service dept. - very frustrating. Searching the web, we've read this is a common problem with the Lenovo. If this were not an issue, we would have given 5 stars.

I purchased this laptop for my second grader who is currently doing hybrid/remote learning. He was given an HP laptop to use for the school year, but the screen size was too small and was very slow. I saw this Lenovo laptop on sale with the Black Friday deals and got it for $299. Not a bad deal! For an average user, it does exactly what we need it to do. It runs on Windows 10, which is perfect because my son uses Microsoft Teams/Office for school meetings and assignments. It doesn't have the brightest/clearest screen, but for the price at $299 it is a great laptop. Overall a great buy!

It is a great buy. I bought it over the Thanksgiving holiday when it was on sale. It works well for my needs so far. I would highly recommend this product.

Got the deal over Black Friday. It has been running smooth, easy to setup and love the 15 inch screen. Great product for the price but would love if it had backlit keyboard.

Bought this during the Black Friday sale for remote learning. It does the job and the screen and performance is good for the price. Would recommend.

Easy to use, easy set up. You don't need to be tech savvy to use it. Light weight so it is easy to transport. Just lift the lid and it powers up for use.

For those on the fence about this laptop, just go ahead and buy it. It's $299, with a fast 10th generation i3, 8gb ram and a solid state hard drive which makes all the difference, not to mention a 1080p display at this price point. I wouldn't expect free MS Office or worry about the free gift which is just another trial software to uninstall later. For those wondering, yes it's more than capable of surfing the net, multiple tabs, you can open your spreadsheets and more. The specs say 7.5 hour battery life, not sure if that is realistic or not, time will tell.

This is a good all purpose laptop that boots quickly and is fast in general (probably not for hard core gamers, though). As an old school tech guy (MCSE in 1998) I'd like to see more traditional connectivity, especially an RJ-45 port for cat5 & 6 hardwired connection to my router. Having said that, I'm impressed with the speed of the wi-fi. Another thing I'm not a fan of is the Win10 S mode OS, which only allows installation of apps downloaded from the Microsoft Store. Stop trying to be Apple!!! I'll be swapping the S mode version for the Home version so I can install security software.

This has been good for me working from home and is faster than my old computer. The only issue I have is that when I save something to the desktop the icon will not show up. I have to actually go in the file manager folder and select the desktop folder to get the files. What is the purpose in that. I tried to call the Geek Squad as I thought with a new computer I had at least one free call. They would not help me and told me I would have to go into the store. With covid-19 I am not going anywhere that is not needed. I was really disappointed with them. Where is the customer loyalty?

Great laptop for my daughter's home study. She loves this laptop for study and small games. Very light and fast booting. Good price and quality.

I chose this laptop based on reviews and the price. I needed a laptop to use at home in supplement of a desktop I use for work. It is exactly what I needed for basic work functions, including accessing Canvas for a class I am teaching. It was easy to add Skype for Business and Exchange for work needs. The sound and picture are good. Comes with Windows 10s so can only use Microsoft programs. If I want to use Zoom, I will need to upgrade to Windows 10. I wish the battery life was a little longer, but it is no problem to plug in to charge.
