great laptop for virtual learning

So far it is working great. It does everything we need it to and there have not been any issues. I had to switch out of the windows 10S mode so that we could use google chrome. It was easy to do but annoying that it needed to be done.

It would be good to have ethernet port to support wired connect because I had issues with WiFi (too much wifii competition in the household). I had to get a dongle.

Good computer for the price

My dinosaur of a Toshiba had a lot more memory but that was then and it's got enough onboard memory for my needs. Very happy with the purchase and Geek Squad for getting everything transferred over.⁰

I would have given it a 5 star except for the Edge operating system. It doesn’t allow me to use Chrome or Firefox as my browser. I can only use the IE browser. If I could use more browsers I would give this laptop a 5 star rating.

Great for online classes

The laptop starts up quickly and programs run without freezing. The webcam has a very wide view and shows images very clear. Overall, it is a very good computer for doing basic tasks and conducting online meetings.

It also good if you want to play not so power intensive games that are a bit older than what is out there right now. I appreciate the webcam privacy tab on the laptop I can move when I'm not using the webcam.

The laptop so far has been working fine and we have had no issues. It has been just about 1 month.

Solid laptop

The price was a touch higher than I anticipated for these specs, but I guess the rules of supply and demand apply here.

Good basic laptop for good price

Got this to help grandkids remotely with school. This is my 3rd Lenovo laptop. I also have an Ideapad 330 and a smaller 11" one. Both have been excellent, and are working fine, which is why I chose Lenovo again.

I have had a good result with the Geek Squad setup and movement of old laptop files to new laptop, in particular the inability to setup Outlook correctly with sync of mailboxes only from the Verizon server.

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 81WE00KVUS, ships with a 720p (HD) webcam with manual Privacy Shutter and Dual Array Microphone built in. For best webcam performance, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer and that all of the BIOS file and drivers, including the webcam drivers, are up to date with that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Happy to say it’s running well and smooth. But i had an issue with the security software that supposedly came with it and never received a code.

She originally went to Best Buy for another one but this was $30 more with more Memory and a bigger SSD drive. It is amazingly fast and a good picture for watching her Netflix and shows.
