If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. The specs are mid-tier but it is only used for school. Screen is big, audio is clear, touchscreen is a plus, and it has plenty of ports. Brightness could be better, keyboard seems disproportionate to its size, and it is an all plastic build. Bottom line is if you are on a budget this is one of the best bang for your buck if you can get your hands on one.

I told them I didnt want to spend more than 500$.. and it was well over that

Maybe watch the occasional YouTube video or Netflix. It does the job perfectly. The big screen is a plus. It’s light enough to carry everyday if needed too. I’m surprised how fast the computer is as well. I highly recommend this for any other college student that just needs a computer to get through classes.
