Posted .Hello, we are sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue with your battery life. The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15" laptop model # 81WE00NKUS is rated for up tp 7.5 hours of batter life depending on your usage scenario. If you are getting substantially less battery life, please adjust your screen brightness settings. A setting of 100% brightness will drain your battery much faster than a lower setting. We recommend setting the screen brightness to some value below 100% that is still comfortable for you to view. Next be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. This model ships with a 1366 x 768 (HD) Display.

It's alright
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an alright computer for the average user that does not play mild-intensive games, edit videos, or model any 3d sort of things. I for some reason thought this would be a good fit for me , but unfortunately it is not.

Blurry, greyed text and Poor image quality
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop few days back and what I was so much surprised was with the price and the configuration. But now I see there is an issue with the laptop resolution and the texts on the pages are blurry and image quality is also poor. You can not work on the machine with the blurry display for long hours. I'm surprised whether Lenovo has compensated for the dirt cheap rate of a high specification piece with poor image quality which is a basic feature of any computer. I contacted lenovo support and they said they don't have any such known issues about this machine and suggested to return or exchange the machine. Bestbuy also advised to return the machine as this is a problem with the best possible resolution of the machine is 1366*768. I'm completely disappointed.

Make sure you buy extra coverage for "damage"
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was great up until September (9 months after purchase) when the screen stopped working. I took it back to Best Buy and they said they wouldnt fix it because we caused the damage. We did not damage it. The laptop was fine in the morning and not when my daughter got home from school. The screen had what looked like LCD leakage from inside the glass. No one had touched it at all. Now I have to pay over 100 to replace the screen.
