We have purchase 4 laptops of poor brands because of price. We decided to go with a nationally recognized company that had a great warranty. Don't think we could have bought another product for the same great price from Best Buy.

The keyboard is set further in because of the mouse pad so typing is a bit more difficult. Overall a good buy for the price.

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17 Laptop, model number 81WF004CUS, will boot from off to the Windows 10 Desktop Screen in less than 40-seconds. If you are experiencing slower boot times, even if you have switched out of S-Mode, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Had to buy a new printer then hours online/ on the phone with Geek Squad to install my new printer/ get Google Chrome working. Still problems with google meet. Feeling frustrated with this laptop. Maybe it was a good buy just not sure yet

Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Be sure the APPs you want to use and any peripheral devices you want to connect to this computer are compatible with Windows 10 S-Mode, if not, you may need to switch out of S-Mode to Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System for free. The computer keeps telling window 11 will arrived, nothing from since I bought it. The fingerprint works well, it is a beauty and is very light to hold. I have a bit of trouble not knowing where the S mode is at. This computer can be improved, but you have to wait until the warranty period is up.

This lap top was a good bargain. Lots if memory. this laptop does everything I want one to do. Its very vast. The larger screen is great for watching movies or playing games. I love it!

Nice, clear, large screen, and solid keyboard "feel" for my tweens. Great for schoolwork, elearning, Zoom and Canvas sessions. (The new norm I guess)... all told, this is a solid, updated great machine.

Only problem i have is that Geek squad person put an account on it and i can't figure out how to get it off. And having my old laptop to transfer to this new laptop, the programs were not transferred.

Performance isn't there, thought it would have an SSD, comes with a HDD which makes it slower than other laptops in the market. Windows 10 S is a joke, cant do anything with it. Good thing you can switch it off.
