Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For some reason, Lenovo let Windows undo the function keys so you can no longer use Airplane, Wi-Fi and other function key settings depicted on the keys. However, this remains one of the only brands that DOES enable the 'disable touchpad' function key -- and you can reset the laptop from an exterior access point that allows you to bypass the whole F10/shift key power on/off saga. Windows tells Lenovo what functions and processes it will enable though, so whatever the mfr specs offer, consider that Windows overrides quite a bit. Lenovo isn't trying to overcome that hostile takeover.

Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.

It has fingerprint scanner no password required. Small charger is great and weight is half my old laptop that had 15.6 screen. Good purchase I have plenty computer experience to know what I was buying before I bought it. Great Purchase at a Great price thanks Best Buy

I bought Lenovo because that's what my daughter has and I like hers. The internal microphone has been non functional since arrival. Lenovo has claimed 3 times to have fixed the issue but it is not fixed. I sat on the phone with them last time for 45 minutes. I should start billing for my time. If the microphone worked or if they hd actually fixed it, I guess I'd like it? Microphone is pretty important since I do web conferencing all day.

Design is really good and I especially like the keyboard design and light weight of the laptop. I am not as impressed with Windows 10, but I had it on my previous computer and still trying to become accustomed to it and Edge. Would be nice if they improved it!

This laptop is underpriced for what it's packing under the hood.

I love the keyboard; it has a wonderful feel. My computer programmer brother had purchased this computer and recommended to me. I would definitely recommend this computer, too.

I need fast a functional, which is what this computer is. I am able to accomplish much more in a day with the speed. Not a of S mode though, windows should stop doing that until they get better programs that are easy to use.

Got What I Paid For

Especially the Ryzen 7 processor and 12 gig of ram. Got what I paid for. Paid $449. 1 month of use. Get rid of Windows S and get free upgrade to Win Home. I knew that was coming and wasn't an issue.
