I got it to transition from high school to college, (my high school had lent us laptops for classes), and it's been really easy to do so. It's light and a reasonable size for me to use. Great for daily users for websurfing, email and office applications. However it needs more ram if you need to use it for IT related work or games. Keypad lighting would have been great.

Great Laptop for college students!

It’s fast and holds a lot of RAM. For the price I got it at with my student discount I don’t think I could’ve cane out with a better deal.

Overall, I like the size of the unit itself and keyboard. It is comfortable in my "lap" and lightweight enough to not require a lot of effort to use. I haven't had it long enough to offer anything valuable as far as extreme uses but I bought it to use as a "typewriter or word processor" to assist me with my writing. Once I figure out all of the operational differences between this product and what I'm accustomed to, I think that it will be fine. Overall, so far, it has performed fine for what I intended it for; easy creative writing. Hope this is helpful

Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

Disappointed

BestBuy would not help Lenovo said it was damaged indicating we caused the damage. If picking it up to use damaged it then it is junk. Haven’t even made the first payment and I have to repair myself with no warranty help.No more Lenovo and no more BestBuy! I’m going to pay it off and destroy my card.

It was on sale for a good price so I picked it up and figured it was a great price for what it can do! It came as a package with webroot for 6 months and Microsoft personal as a package deal!
