My needs are limited: email, a little word processing, internet searching and an occasional streaming movie. I store very little. This is great. Well made. Thanks to Microsoft and McAfee, it was more difficult to set up than I thought it should be; Comcast provides Norton for free. All in all, another good purchase from Best Buy. I will note that first salesman got a detail wrong (aluminum not plastic) and was too forward in selling other add-ons. When I returned, knowing clearly what I wanted and what I did not want, it was all as could be.

Even with only 4GB of memory (you can add more) it handles office apps just fine but if you're into gaming or photo-video processing you should probably look elsewhere. The 128GB SSD really makes a difference with fast boot times and program loading. It's not a huge drive but it performs very well. The display viewing angle is not the best but it's very clear and has good color. It's thin, light and has good battery life. Great choice for a no frills laptop.

This provides this. The solid state drive gives you quick start up and very quiet. It has little bloat ware other than the stuff from Windows. The battery is not the longest lasting but it charges quite fast. Unfortunately the battery is built into the machine so to change it if its possible you have to take the whole thing apart. So far no major problems. If you need a laptop to do simple things and only on it a couple hours a day, this should work for you.

Sales rep. made it easy to understand and get the computer I needed and not just whatever was on sale or needed to be moved. Tech support was a little sketchy. The "head geek" told me it was past his time to leave and that I should just take my computer home and let it finish loading. As I had returned to the store for help because I could not get things to work, this did not make me feel good, or appreciated as a customer.
