My Lenovo Nightmare
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I bought the laptop I specifically asked for a laptop that was NOT in "S" mode. I was sold one in S mode anyway. I couldn't remove S mode. Lenovo wanted to charge me to remove S mode (I just bought it). I also bought the laptop with my Best Buy credit card and didn't have the receipt. The store in Forsyth, IL was very adamant about not returning it without the paper receipt. The Bolingbrook, IL store was very helpful in resolving this problem. I would give negative ten start to the local store Forsyth and twenty start to the Bolingbrook store.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Failed just outside warranty period, and repair costs what new laptop does as in several hundred dollars. Pile of worthless parts mostly soldered on. Look elsewhere if you want something to last and that can be repaired instead of trashed because it will all require a new motherboard if literally anything goes wrong. This company used to make better products that lasted more than a year of careful use and that could be repaired but now I can't recommend them. This one in particular stopped charging one day and it's the charge port qr fault but because they soldered it on instead of it being replaceable the whole thing is trash except for the hard drive as I will not pay Lenovo for this to potentially happen again at the price rate of a new laptop as that is essentially what I was quoted by them for a new motherboard and the service on it. I will be parting it out and recycling it instead and taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I paid on this laptop more than any pc i had in my life.Looks like it should have a backup plan w additional port.now im stuck until i get the money to send to repair. And i thought it was perfect???

Best Buy wanted to charge me a minimum of $40 to look into it. No user manual came with the new computer.
