Battery drainer

It starts up quick, and works well. BUT, it CONSTANTLY drains the battery. On a full charge, I shut down properly, but when I turn on the laptop days later - I'm at half power or less. I use this laptop for work, so there are days or even weeks where I'm not using it. Sometimes I go to turn it on, and it's completely dead. And sometimes when I flip open the screen, the power light is already on. I wouldn't buy this laptop again, knowing that it drains battery even when it's supposed to be off.

Senior Citizen Buys a New Laptop

After describing my typical usage and needs, your gentleman recommended a couple of choices. I decided on the Lenova-Ideapad. I am very pleased with both my new laptop as well as the excellent support that I received from the Geek Squad. The are experts in assisting "non-techie" senior citizens.
