Great Computer. Controlling Microsoft software

Microsoft 11 security is overly restrictive so I removed it. McAffee-loaded software is not great. In both cases, it was easy to shape the operating system to my desired settings when I followed the directions. Haven't used the Xbox functionality since my machine is for business purposes. So I can't address the gaming functions, but if the speed I'm experiencing is any indication it should be fine

I've used it every day for 3 years and it has been amazing. I've watched videos, held zoom calls, used microsoft applications, downloaded flyers, etc. It is great!

It’ll handle work and browsing without issue. The touch screen is also nice as it adds a layer of character. That said, the display is not good. Even for a basic computer it could’ve been done considerably better. It works, but it doesn’t satisfy the eye with nice color and true color. For work, its fine.

Battery life could be better but overall it’s an amazing computer and has a very large screen:)

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So one year later it's still a very good laptop but I am STILL FURIOUS that I had to spend an ADDITIONAL $179 for a Geek Squad one year membership to get help unlocking the god forsaken bull crap lockout software this laptop came preloaded with the Microsoft suite. I needed to use Adobe software and Microsoft was forcing me to download one of THEIR apps, which did NOT interface with the USPTO and I had to get a Geek Squad IT tech to help me. That ADDED cost to this laptop and I am sooo not happy about that. In the guise of "security" that allgedly is sold as a means of protecting the user Microsoft pulls shady crap like this because it wants to be able to force users to buy their software and ONLY their software. Bill Gates is a power mad lunatic and this is why I have resisted buying a PC for years. I still appreciate Chrome Books because I can use ANY software I want but Chrome stopped interfacing with Microsoft Word and so I was forced to get a PC. Gates, there is a special place in Hades waiting for you. Another beef with Microsoft...constant pop ups and annoying crap and newsflash, I have zero interest in seeing news stories that Microsoft Edges thinks I should see...It's distracting and irritating and I can't seem to turn it off.
