good little computer for the price, gets us where we need to be on line, appears to have everything my niece needs for her schooling, and we are both enjoying it.

So one year later it's still a very good laptop but I am STILL FURIOUS that I had to spend an ADDITIONAL $179 for a Geek Squad one year membership to get help unlocking the god forsaken bull crap lockout software this laptop came preloaded with the Microsoft suite. I needed to use Adobe software and Microsoft was forcing me to download one of THEIR apps, which did NOT interface with the USPTO and I had to get a Geek Squad IT tech to help me. That ADDED cost to this laptop and I am sooo not happy about that. In the guise of "security" that allgedly is sold as a means of protecting the user Microsoft pulls shady crap like this because it wants to be able to force users to buy their software and ONLY their software. Bill Gates is a power mad lunatic and this is why I have resisted buying a PC for years. I still appreciate Chrome Books because I can use ANY software I want but Chrome stopped interfacing with Microsoft Word and so I was forced to get a PC. Gates, there is a special place in Hades waiting for you. Another beef with Microsoft...constant pop ups and annoying crap and newsflash, I have zero interest in seeing news stories that Microsoft Edges thinks I should see...It's distracting and irritating and I can't seem to turn it off.

Awesome laptop, wasn’t expecting the laptop to be so lightweight and easy to use

Use this for basic computing and light gaming. I don’t use the touchscreen. For gaming you have to upgrade to 16gb ram as the fps went up on games by 50%. Not sure why this is much better for the IGPU but it is night and day. Also the computer looks slightly bluer than the pictures which look more black. Overall extremely good value laptop

If you're looking for a full-size, low-priced budget laptop, you could do a lot worse than Lenovo's 15.6-inch IdeaPad 3i. Good for everyday productivity. No frills PC!

If your looking for a laptop for general use, such as streaming movies, browsing the web, or even very light gaming, then it's in a very good price range assuming you are able to find it at a discount. Also the build quality is very good overall, but the camera privacy cover that's just a piece of plastic that slides in place is of somewhat questionable quality
