It replaces an older lenovo I've had for almost 10 years. I'm not a gamer so I cannot speak to that, but for my purposes, so far it is perfect.

The salesperson that assisted us was very knowledgeable and professional. This is the second laptop I have purchased from Best Buy in addition to a big screen TV and a tablet. All gifts.
