      To start, please ensure that your Chromebook is up to date, as outdated, buggy software can affect system performance and overall stability. To check for updates, please open the Settings app, then select the “About ChromeOS” tab in system settings, then Check for Updates. If after updates the issues persists, we the recommend doing a hardware reset (visit the following link to learn how to do so: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3227606?hl=en&sjid=11168473644130281663-NA), which reboots the embedded controller that manages various system components, in an attempt to resolve the performance issue.

    The laptop is good, i just find it hard because the computer has a hard time turning on and also the caps lock is hard to keep going and I bought this specifically for my writing and its very hard for me to do.

      To clarify, is the difficulty with your Chromebook turning on due to the power button? Does the system take a while to boot? If you could provide more details, we can address this more precisely.

      As for caps lock, we understand your perspective and while this has been permanently addressed with newest Chromebook models, for your IdeaPad 3i, you will need to use the Alt + Space key combination to activate and deactivate caps lock.

    I jad purchased the computer for my sister however the computer tends to be slow and lag a bit behind with graphics, audio, etc… overall good price but i would not recommend purchasing!

To try to remedy this, first, please look for any applicable updates in the “About ChromeOS” tab in system settings. After applying these updates, should your issue persist, we recommend trying to complete a powerwash or factory reset to see if this resolves the issue.     It’s really nothing special, I only bought the laptop because I needed a cheap laptop quickly for an interview as my old one broke, and this did the job. It’s kinda slow, but what do you expect at this price?

    Daughter seems to like it, seems well built. Wish they would have touch screens standard on these things. Used to be able to get cheap chrome books with touchscreens but now you have to pay more than I want for that feature.
