I need a compact laptop to use while traveling and conducted a great deal of research of 10 to 12 inch Chromebooks. I also wanted the flexibility of using it as a tablet. I read many reviews and had hands on testing at my local Bestbuy store. I quickly narrowed the selections to the Lenovo ideaPad Duet 3 and 5 Chromebooks. I loved the performance and screen of the Duet 5, but felt it was just to large for use as a tablet. In comparison, the Duet 3 was just right and it's screen was very bright and met my requirements. My only wish was that Bestbuy was carrying the 8 Gb Ram model rather than only the 4 Gb unit. I have not found the 4 Gb Ran to be limiting as I typically do not run multiple apps in unison. In short, the ideaPad Duet 3 met all of my requirements and I'm enjoying using it!

I love it the battery life is excellent and my daughter is enjoying it. The addition of the keyboard is a plus for practice on typing for my 4th grader.

Its a little small but it happens to work. I can use it anywhere and everything it comes with works wonderfully, i wish it came with a stylus instead of having to buy one separately. Good product

Bought this for our son to use at school & quite impressed with the speed and ease of use as well as the ability to use more as a tablet. Probably the most functional computer I've ever purchased and will use it once he's done with it.

I've had the original duet since July 2020, and use it everyday as my computing device. I purchased the duet 3 because I'm concerned the battery in my original duet is not holding a charge as well as it used to, but also for the slightly larger screen size and faster processor. However, there are limitations with the duet 3, even though it's on the same Chrome OS version as the original duet. I have intermittent issues with connecting this to a larger screen (requiring a system reboot), something I use for zoom exercise classes and also connecting to my calendar through my aCalendar app.

The screen is very nice, speed is good. The removable keyboard comes with the price (unlike MS Surface). There is no pen though there is a holder, so we ordered that on Amazon. Very reasonable Chromebook.

The size makes it's easier to carry. Touch screen, speed and display are excellent. Battery life is better than meant.

Absolutely everything I was looking for. I did my research and this was the ideal product for me. I wanted a 2 in 1 Chromebook with good battery life and this was it exactly. Happened across it for a great price. Happy with the purchase.

User friendly!! My daughter has no issues using this tablet for all her schooling needs. It's light weight and compact. Touch screen capabilities and great display. Perfect amount of storage and memory to fit her needs.

Son's laptop stopped working during finals week! Bestbuy to the rescue. Placed order online and ready for pick up in 30 minutes. Portable, fast, and the addition of a pen.."game changer"

Very nice and light laptop. It did not however run lockdown browser for college. Great speed and battery life.

Bought this Duet 3 8gb c'book to replace my original Duet 4Gb memory still serving me well, with an AUE 8/28. Logged on to my Gmail acct., connected to my router, and within 5 minutes had everything on it! The cover is firmer, keyboard better, screen super bright, - everything just works. Bonus - USI 2 stylus included [did not see that in specs.] 2 USB-C ports allow use of mic/earbuds with USB-C to 3.5 mm dongle, so essentially it DOES have audio in/out capabilities without using Bluetooth. My wife updated her Lenovo 10e tablet to another Duet 3 and is happy with it as well.

Love this little beauty. It is not a flagship but I can assure you I have not met a metaphorical "Wave" in life that it can't handle. I love that it boots up so quickly, has sufficient ports for externals and is so protable. The keyboard is also a favorite of mine. I use it when I travel, at home for web conferencing during which I connect an external screen and 4K webcam and it shrugs it off and runs everything like a champ. Very satisfied.

Good tablet Chromebook. Great screen and a relatively good keyboard. The piece of cover that attaches to the back of the device has very weak magnets, you can easily move it from its place simply by trying to unfold the stand. A minor inconvenience but still. But what I don't understand is why Lenov is so reluctant to add a fingerprint scanner to their tablet Chromebooks. They have them on even the cheapest of their laptops but not on Duet tablets. The form factor suggests that you pick it up and put it down many times, it is not like with a full-blown laptop that you might sit and work for hours. So it is super-annoying to enter a 6-digit passcode every time you want to check or do something quick, let alone type in a password. You might think it is nothing, but when ALL your other devices have some sort of ID scanner it is really weird to get a $400 device that doesn't have it. I understand not having it on a $150-$200 device, but on a $400 one?

I really like this chromebook. It is compact enough that I can take it with me when I need to but also just the right size to use as an everyday tool. The speakers are a little low if you are in an area that is a little noisy. I havent had any real problems with them though as I was able to hear fine in a quiet space with the speakers at full volume. Do not purchase a stylus for it as it does not work. Unfortunately, I missed the sale because I decided to wait and return at a later date to buy it. I still feel that it is worth the price,
