The display is low resolution so the text doesn't look sharp. There is an issue with the display colors while watching Netflix, YouTube or editing photos. If you move the cursor the colors return to normal, but once the cursor disappeared, the display become overly saturated with an emphasis on the color reds. The machine feels really slow and sluggish at this point. It comes with a very nice keyboard that feels good to type but it is not backlit. In conclusion I do not recommend this machine.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that you're having this problem with your Duet 5 Chromebook. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may be causing you, and we'd like to work with to address these pain points.
To address the screen resolution, by default for scaling the display is set at a lower resolution. Should you wish for the display to appear sharper, please adjust the resolution under display settings in ChromeOS settings.
Regarding the coloring and sluggish performance issues, try to resolve this, please attempt a hardware reset on your Chromebook (visit the following link to learn how to do so: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3227606?hl=en&sjid=11168473644130281663-NA), which reboots the embedded controller that manages various system components, which may resolve the issue.
If this doesn't resolve your issue, you may need to factory reset your Chromebook, which you can learn more about towards the bottom of the webpage tied to the previously embedded link. So long as your Chromebook is backed up and the data is tied to the same Google account you used to setup your Chromebook, you can restore your system from a backup point to prevent you having to go through the full setup process again or having to make setting adjustments and customizations again.

I stream a lot and media consumption on this tablet was unfortunately not great. The AMOLED screen was beautiful but noticeably pixelated and not sharp. The interface lagged and was not as responsive as I would have liked.

The graphics and speed are terrific. However, 2 months later in July, the Chromebook would stop charging and charging indicator would not light up when plugged in. I sent it to Lenovo. They fixed it and sent it back in two weeks. Yet, it happened again a week later. I sent it back to Lenovo for repair on 8/13. I received it back on 8/29 and they claimed that it was repaired. But it was not! I sent it back to Lenovo again on 8/30 for repair... As of 9/9/23, I was checking the repair status online. It's stating "customer induced damage.". I am feeling furious and very disappointed at this company!

To try to remedy this, first, please look for any applicable updates in the “About ChromeOS” tab in system settings. After applying these updates, should your issue persist, we recommend trying to complete a powerwash or factory reset to see if this resolves the issue. The touch screen is not always responsive. It is difficult to open unless you have longer fingernails. There was no salesman to help me in Vacaville. I was talked into buying a membership which covers costs of repair (instead of purchasing the insurance.) When I read the fine print I found that as soon as you cancel membership, you lose that insurance even though you have paid a year's worth already. Duplicite policy. Just buy the protection plan instead of membership

Struggle with functions
