I tried 2 of these 2 months apart and experienced the same pros and cons. Pros: Beautiful screen! Light-weight, comfy keyboard, strong stand. Great (open box) price! Comes with kick-stand and keyboard. Cons: Apps would just crash and not give any error messages (Google Files, Diablo Immortal, Microsoft Edge), would have to restart the whole thing to try again. Watching videos on the YouTube app was torture. It would freeze up, skip, and if you went full screen you would see 2-5 seconds of black screen before a choppy image showed up.

Love it! This is a real iPad killer! My iPad Air (1st Gen.) was on it's last legs and I wasn't interested in another iPad. Aside from playing some games and watching videos on it I really was unable to do much (conveniently) with it. My iPad never worked out for me as a productivity tool. This Lenovo Chromebook, though, is just awesome! I can run all the apps I enjoyed on my iPad. Plus, via my Google Drive account I can assess all my files and review/edit them when I'm away from my office. This isn't a desktop or full blown laptop replacement for me, but it does allow me to work remotely with ease. Oh, the keyboard is just fantastic. It provides good tactile feel and rebound, which I really like. The iPad's virtual keypad was awful! My Chromebook is also plenty fast and has 8Gb of memory and 128Gb of onboard storage. Awesome! So, no more iPads for me. I'm glad I found this Lenovo Chromebook. I really love it.

Lovely look and feel, very easy to use but the downside of chromebooks is their limited functionality with some productivity software like Slack. I also prefer to have a traditional audio jack. Otherwise, great package for light work and fits neatly into bags

This is a great device and can be both your media device and your PC if everything is in the cloud. Beautiful screen and very responsive. Excellent value for the price. Battery life is fantastic. Only problem is that the speakers are very low-powered...nothing that a bluetooth speaker can't fix.

I think this is a keeper. I wanted something that allowed me to work with Google Apps for work but also allow to play some android app games and watch streaming content. All that works for me. The 2 things I am blown away by is the insane battery life and the beautiful oled screen. With moderate use I can get into the 2nd day before I need to charge. Heavy use and I can get through the day. The oled screen is really nice to look at when streaming shows/movies. Sure, I wish the processor was more powerful and the screen was a little more than 1080p but all of that is the beauty of chromeOS. It is light so this processor gets the job done the "improvements" will probably come at the cost of battery life.

This is a great Chromebook. Fast and responsive. The OLED screen is beautiful. Runs Android apps well. Too bad it did not come with a pen. Had to get an aftermarket one from Amazon. Battery life has been excellent. So far the hinge has been holding up well. The keyboard is great. Even better when on sale, of course.

Got it on sale for 300. Very pretty screen very big does what it needs. But can be slow and that is due to Google play services taking up alot of the ram. Will keep. But I will not recommend spending any more than 300.

My expectations were high and the Duet 5 delivered and then some. What a gorgeous screen, good keyboard, and plenty of zip for most tasks. I'm an IT/database person and I could use this in a pinch to do most of my tasks. I'm finding myself wanting to use this machine a lot. Consider me impressed!

I like it, but I wish it had a headphone/audio jack. It is bluetooth/wifi capable, but I was hoping I can continue to use my wired headphone with this device, without having to buy an adapter or new headphones. Other than that, this Chromebook is great. The battery life is nice.

Great 8-Core Processor and touch screen. Has an amazing OLED screen and has both Chromebook and Android OS so you can download Play Store apps and games while also keeping the desktop format. Has never failed me and is slim to take anywhere.

Perfect for school. Has everything we need. Works great. Definitely recommend.

The computer is sleek and fast, perfect and multitasking and gaming. The display is vibrant and the keyboard is comfortable to use. Overall, it's a great value for the price. Highly recommend.

I have the original Lenovo 10.1 inch Duet and wanted a larger screen so I bought this Lenovo Duet 5. I do not use the keyboards at all and use the Duets only as tablets while sitting in a recliner chair reading web pages and email. The Duet 5 audio is much louder than the smaller Duet making it so much easier to hear using the built in speakers. The screen clarity on the larger Duet is excellent, too. The Duet 5's overall speed seems faster than the smaller Duet and I have not experienced intermittent pauses when searching through eBay pages filled with images. The only gripe I have with the Duet 5 is that the borders around the screen are so narrow that it is difficult to hold the tablet without my palms being misinterpreted as inputs.

Fantastic typing experience for a folio keyboard, met my expectations from Lenovo. Beautiful Screen (my model had no issues with flicker.) Runs fast, smooth and ran well with Android applications, but Chrome OS in tablet mode is still slower than in "desktop" mode--scaling and such has some delay. However, it seems the bean counters got in the way: The Duet 5 has a fantastic display with horrendous audio--very tinny and muddled, would be good enough for video calls. This is not a media consumption device, nor does it appear to be marketed as a workhorse as it doesn't include a stylus. It's 70% of being everything I need, but that's just not enough to justify the purchasing price.

Love this tablet!! This has made college so much easier. So light that it makes taking it to class a breeze. The screen quality is amazing, even when I zoom in, no problem with pixelation.

I love this thing! I use it almost everyday. It's capable enough to be really get some good work done when you need to and an incredible entertainment device. The battery life is fantastic, and overall performance is fast and smooth I'm very happy with my purchase.

So far so good, I purchased this for my business that I started. I have had no issues, it's fast enough, it connects to my wi-fi and printer.the battery holds a charge. It is awesome.

This is my 2nd Chromebook. I like the profile of this chromebook and the fact that I can use it both as a tablet and a laptop. The keyboard connects easily and stays in place, even when I'm using it on my lap. The Duet also pairs with my Android phone, so I can get messages. My bookmarks synced easily once I logged in, although in a couple of instances, I needed to log in again. The Duet is lightweight, a little wider than my old Chromebook (13.3" vs 11 "), so I need to use a different bag for carrying, but it's very slim so it fits easily in a tote or a medium-size shoulder bag. One thing to be aware of: sometimes it shuts down unexpectedly (updates). When you press the power button, it doesn't go on instantly, you need to hold the button down for a few seconds, similar to restarting a cell phone, until the Chromebook logo appears.

Good purchase at a great deal. The only complaint is that it logs out of Google frequently. It looks great, is lightweight, and has everything necessary for on-the-go connectivity.
