I purchased this to travel with and while it is small and light, I regret buying it. It is painfully slow loading simple web pages and often crashes. I've had other chromebooks in the past that were a delight to use and this is simply too underpowered for the job.

Died after 14 months

I bought this for my daughter last year. The touch screen is a little finicky near the edges; when touching the screen the clicks want to "snap" to the edge. Also, the unit completely died 14 months after purchase. It won't charge or turn on.

The chromebook was alright there were sometimes when the Chromebook would freeze

The computer was OK. Not the laptop that I was expecting. I found that there were troubles when I would open a new tab, and it was just keeps spinning. Even after I close out the browser I would actually had to restart the entire computer and even sometimes I didn’t work so I had to do a hard reset and this was only a few days after getting the computer. Keep in mind. This is my second computer by Lenovo Chromebook that I have gotten and returned. It’s a good computer for small projects. I was a little annoyed that I couldn’t download what I wanted to because, but didn’t allow it.

My daughter only had this for 2 months and the hinges cracked. Not sure if we got a defective one but it wasn’t as sturdy as we thought. Other than that price was decent but I guess you get what you paid for.

Very slow speed

I bought this product for my granddaughter who is in third grade. She does not like it because the process speed is so slow. She’s only used it maybe three times in a year.

To start, we recommend ensuring the system is up to date by opening Settings > About ChromeOS > Check for updates. Next, try doing a hardware reset (visit the following link to learn how to do so: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3227606?hl=en&sjid=11168473644130281663-NA), which reboots the embedded controller that manages various system components.
If this doesn't resolve your issue, you may need to factory reset your Chromebook, which you can learn more about towards the bottom of the webpage tied to the previously embedded link. So long as your Chromebook is backed up and the data is tied to the same Google account you used to setup your Chromebook, you can restore your system from a backup point to prevent you having to go through the full setup process again or having to make setting adjustments and customizations again.

horrible performance, even for surfing internet. if you are okay waiting more than three seconds for a page refresh, and if you have all extreme patience, you might be okay, but otherwise the performance of this computer for even the most basic functionality is very deficient. I simply use this for Internet surfing and with a handful of windows open, it can't process the content and page refresh in a reasonable timeframe.

Already having issues with the trackpad jumping around ands clicking on things unintentionally. Had it seen at geek squad for a reset and the issue is still there.

Well first of all your customer services is horrible. Your people are rude and made me cry. Regarding the product it was open box and i was told its was in excellent condition. It wasn't!! The right and left arrows don't work. It never got fixed even though i tried and it was for my daughter's school work. I would not recommend because your customers super is absolutely ridiculous.

Poor quality. Hinge is very weak. Not a bad setup or for use but doesn't last long and not durable at all. Would not purchase again kind of sad that I did.

Bought the computer for my daughter and only used it two days and the mouse pad stopped working and took it back and got a another one and three days after using the volume went out traded it back for a different style computer and is working fine.
