Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a great laptop. I really like the blue backlight. I wish I had more storage in the 250. The battery life was never the 9 hours that was claimed even while doing nothing at best it lasted around 4 to 5 hours. After 3 years it now only lasts about an hour. It works well for gaming the graphics card is great. It does get pretty noisy with games it seems like it's running at its limit with basic games. Overall I really did like this laptop.

Power supply issues

The power supply gets so hot it literally melted my skin off picking it up. Also when it gets hot it stops charging the laptop and since it has poor battery life to begin with it basically makes the computer useless. I would love someone to contact me about the power supply but Best Buy makes their website impossible to actually contact a real human.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the 135W external AC adapter/charger your Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15 Gaming Laptop model number 81LK01MSUS uses. When a laptop is plugged in and turned on, the adapter may be warm to the touch. A relatively warm power adapter is normal, especially when the laptop is in use while the battery is charging. However, if the adapter is hot enough to hurt you after touching it for a few seconds, there could be a serious issue. We recommend you make an appointment at your local Best Buy Store to visit their Geek Squad and have the technicians there examine the AC adapter as well as the computer for any issues.

Posted .A possible reason why you're experiencing display issues after your computer wakes up is due to corrupted system files on your computer. We recommend that you run the System File Checker. System File Check is a utility available in Windows 10 that checks for system file corruption. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
Wifi dropped on any gaming

After 3 hours of Lenovo support routed to all different countries, with Rooster sounds on the background. Nobody was able to solve the issue. Finally had to return it as per lenovo support as they refused for any repairs or service

Track pad is horrible some area's when clicked gets treated as left click and sometimes right click. Its completely random if when you click it will get registered as left click or right click. I had to buy a web camera and mouse. It more like a desktop than a laptop. I bought a cheaper acer laptop for my son. Inspite hits and bangs that laptop is better than this. Nothing has stopped working on that. Stay away from lenovo brand. It's gone to trash.
