This system will boot from off to the Windows 10 desktop in less than 40-seconds. If you are experiencing slower boot up and file/program access, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. Affordable laptop at a great price

I got it for my son for his school work. The only thing I don't like about it is the monitor. The monitor is not good when you look at it from the side. Setting it up took a lot of time compared to what I am used to.

This laptop does manage to do these things, but at an infuriatingly slow pace. Lenovo should be embarrassed to put their brand on this pile of crap. If this computer were a car, it would have 3 wheels, and a max speed of 13 mph. It might get you where you need to go, but you sure as hell aren't going to enjoy the ride.

Posted .The heart of the Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15 laptop is the Windows 10 Operating System. With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

I haven't had any problems with it after i did the updates after purchase. I bought Microsoft office and installed it with no problems. It does what I need it to do.
