Great for young kids

I bought it originally for myself for but ended up giving it my daughter when they closed the schools. She has been using it for her homework and so far we have no complaints. I would definitely recommend it to parents of kids in elementary. It comes in safety mode and that’s great for regulating what the kids can download but it’s not really convenient for me as some of the apps (college portal) I need are not available in the safe mode.

I like the computer. It's a fine machine for a great sale price.
Bought it for the wife and trying it out in S mode to keep her out of trouble.
But, I followed Lenovo's directions to the warranty document (at https//www.lenovo.com/warranty/llw_02) and there is no description of the warranty piriod. Is it 30 days or one year?? Also, there is no phone number in that document.
I would give it 5 stars if it had a 1 year warranty period that was easily accessible.

Got this laptop to replace one with a much smaller hard drive. Works great but it does take forever to boot up.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15 laptop. is an entry level, light use system with its Intel Pentium processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for Microsoft Office and light internet browsing. This model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.

I purchased this laptop for my child who uses it in/for college. She likes the touch screen and that it can be used as a tablet. It is lightweight which makes it easy to carry in her backpack. It also has great speed.
It was purchased on sale, so it was definitely a good price.

This is a great little computer for general use. Bought this computer for my dad who just needs to basics of internet and Microsoft suite. It’s easy to use and fairly user friendly. Does come with a lot of storage taken up due to preloaded software. Other than that no issues

This is a very nice laptop, my only negative is the S version of Windows 10. The S version limits you only to Microsoft Apps. Maybe there is a reason for this but it didn't help me. I bought this laptop to use as a portable version of PhotoShop. Luckily you can opt out of the S version to regular Windows 10, but you can not switch back if you want to do that. Running regular 10 is fine for me. A good version of Webroot Security Anywhere in included.

I wouldn't have replaced my old computer if it wasn't for the fact that Windows 7 was going away in January and i couldn't update.
This Lenovo is ideal and is really faster and has more functions than my old computer does. I'm very happy with the choice and the price.

The price I paid was good ($200) on sale. For that price you don't expect tremendous performance but it is slow at times and freezes up a lot. Usually it's only a minute or two but it is still very frustrating
I would recommend this if you are looking for an OK computer at a good price.

No complains, it does what I need, browsing, office apps even some more technical stuff related tasks. You may want to invest 60 bucks and change the memory for an 8G chip and add a 240 SSD, you will be amazed.
